The officers consist of a President, 1st Vice-President, 2nd Vice-President, Executive Secretary and Treasurer. These Officers, together with eighteen (18) elected Directors and the Past Presidents who continue to be members constitute the Board of Directors.
CURRENT OFFICERS
President - Lindsay Degueldre, P.E. LEED AP, Assoc. DBIA
Lindsay Degueldre is Chief of Project Delivery at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. She managed design and construction of various infrastructure projects across the country. She enjoys connecting with cohorts in sharing technical knowledge and contributing to the delivery of sustainable infrastructure projects.
First Vice President - Zuzanna Sobczak, P.E.
Zuzanna Sobczak, P.E., ENV SP, is a Water Resources Engineer at Wade Trim in NYC. She has experience in structural design, FEM and 3D modeling. She is a construction safety advocate and holds multiple training certifications. Zuzanna is committed to the development of sustainable and innovative solutions to improve existing water infrastructure and create new sustainable infrastructure. She is also an active member of the Young Professionals Group for the New York Water Environment Association’s Metropolitan Chapter.
Second Vice President - Isaac Menda
Isaac Menda is Director, MTA Projects in the OCMC Division of NYCDOT. Over the years he has been involved in planning and designing transportation projects in the NY Metropolitan Region. With ASCE, he served as the Principal Coordinator of the Report Card of New York State Infrastructure.
Secretary - Bishoy Sourial, P.E.
A graduate of the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Bishoy holds PE licenses in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, and maintains REI in confined space operations and watermain inspections. Bishoy has served as Resident and Office Engineer on high-value NYC DDC projects including the South Street Interceptor Sewer Rehabilitation and the Leonard Street trunk water main upgrade. His expertise spans trenchless rehabilitation, water and sewer main installation, structural design review, and regulatory compliance. He’s coordinated with city agencies, and delivered design reviews with their calculations, and project closeouts appurtenances. Bishoy is known for his precision, leadership, and commitment to public safety and his work reflects a deep dedication to resilient infrastructure and community-focused engineering.
Treasurer - Tania Quesada, P.E.
Tania Quesada is a Project Manager at Brown and Caldwell. She has more than 16 years of experience delivering wastewater infrastructure projects.
